SPW believes that more can be accomplished when we work together.

To help our clients achieve their fitness goals, SPW utilizes small group personal training sessions.   How is group personal training different from and exercise class?  The answer is important, as it is a key benefit to membership at SPW.  In an exercise class, such as Zumba or aerobics, an instructor demonstrates a movement and the students follow.  Conversely, group personal training is different because of that operative word – personal.  Group personal trainers coach.  In a group personal training session, students are often doing different exercises at their own customized level of fitness or ability, while the trainer helps individuals improve the execution of the various exercises, not to mention motivating you to give just a little more than you think you have to give!

Functional strength training helps us live our lives more freely.  We keep the classes interesting by introducing new workouts & exercises on a frequent basis.  We focus on building core strength. Having a fit and strong core is key to elevate your performance as an outrigger canoe paddler, an SUPer, or as an athlete in general.


Class length:  50 minutes

Days:  Monday through Friday

Times:  5:00am, 6:00am, 3:00pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm

Class difficulty:  Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced


Suspension Training TRX 

The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.  TRX Suspension Training is a highly effective core-strengthening training exercise that also improves flexibility and muscular stability.  Every Wednesday is TRX day at SPW!

Open Workouts

If you can't make it to a scheduled class, but need to get that workout in, don't worry!  Our daily workouts are posted to make sure you get your work done.  You will be able to work out on your own and at your own pace but remember just because you are not in a class doesn't mean you can go easy.  Nothing in life comes easy.  Let's go!

Days:  Monday through Friday 7:00am - 2:30pm

            Saturday 9:00am - 4:00pm

            Sunday 1:00pm - 4:00pm
